December 6th, 1992: San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice catches NFL record 101st touchdown in a 27-3 win over Miami Dolphins at Candlestick Park.

Played 20 seasons in the National Football league, and is widely considered to be not only the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, but one of the greatest players of all time.

All-time leader in most major statistical categories for wide receivers and the all-time career leader in receptions, touchdown receptions, and receiving yards. He was selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times and won three Super Bowl rings with the San Fransisco 49ers.
